The State Administration for Financial Supervision and Administration has opened a green channel for disaster claims, accepting reports through multiple channels, and adhering to the principle of "handling special matters and urgent matters".
As of 10:00 am on August 8th, insurance institutions in 16 disaster stricken areas including Hebei have received 207900 insurance reports, with an estimated loss amount of 7.131 billion yuan. At present, 68600 cases have been compensated, with a compensation amount of 432 million yuan.
