The local police said that the boy opened fire on July 25th and shot 8-year-old girl Janice Dockley in the head. Dorky was rushed to the hospital and passed away two days later. The boy has not been charged yet, but investigators believe there is sufficient evidence to accuse him of manslaughter and gun theft. The boy is currently being held in a juvenile detention facility. Dokli's father said that on the day of the incident, Dokli and his sister were taken to the nanny's house, and a shooting occurred one hour later. "My daughter's life was tragically taken away, it was a terrible nightmare, and it still feels unreal."
Harry Daniels, a family lawyer for Dokley, said that the boy stole a gun from the safe at home. Prior to the incident, the boy had posted a photo of him holding a gun on social media. Daniels also said that the safe was not locked and the boy knew the password.
