CCTV News: According to the latest agricultural situation dispatch from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, as of now, 16.7% of early rice has been harvested nationwide, with a progress rate 0.7 percentage points faster than the previous year. Multiple measures are being taken in each major production area to promote high-quality and efficient early rice harvesting.
At present, over 18 million acres of early rice in Jiangxi, a major province of early rice, are fully harvested. In Linchuan District, Fuzhou, 1800 agricultural machines were put into operation to harvest 575000 acres of early rice. This year, Linchuan District vigorously promoted the green, efficient, and high-yield cultivation technology model, enhancing the disaster resistance of rice and steadily increasing its yield.

Entering July, more than 1.75 million acres of early rice in Yulin City, Guangxi welcomed a bountiful harvest. To overcome the adverse weather effects of excessive rainfall since the beginning of summer, Yulin City has organized the investment of over 4500 combine harvesters and over 700 grain dryers to serve the summer harvest, ensuring the return of early rice grains to the warehouse.

This year, it is expected that 280000 combine harvesters will be put into operation in the southern rice growing areas, with overall sufficient equipment support. In order to prepare for emergency operations in extreme weather conditions such as high temperatures, relevant provinces have organized more than 3300 normalized agricultural machinery emergency operation service teams, contacted more than 5000 drying entities in advance, and ensured efficient and orderly promotion of early rice harvesting.
