CCTV News: Recently, many areas in Heilongjiang Province have suffered serious flooding disasters. Among them, the rising water level of the Lalin River has led to multiple towns and villages being flooded, and rice cultivation in Wuchang City has also been affected. The local government actively carries out disaster prevention and reduction work, striving to minimize the losses caused by floods.
Affected by the flood of the Lalin River, multiple villages in 20 townships and streets in Shuangcheng District of Harbin have been flooded, and nearly 79000 people have been safely relocated. More than 2700 people have been resettled in 18 resettlement sites.

The flood disaster caused extensive damage to crops in Heilongjiang Province. The agricultural department dispatched a provincial-level agricultural and plant protection expert group to the affected counties and districts to conduct in-depth investigations and guide agricultural disaster prevention, reduction, and relief work. At the rice planting base in Lianhua Village, Wuchang Town, Wuchang City, the flood has gradually receded, and the local authorities are intensifying efforts to drain the accumulated water.
