Adhering to the supremacy of the people is the fundamental political position of the CPC

Whether a political party has the character of the people depends on who it stands for and for whom it seeks benefits.

From a theoretical and practical perspective, our party is a Marxist political party, and the people-oriented nature is a distinct characteristic of the party. Party spirit and people-oriented nature have always been highly unified. Marxism is a theory that comes from the people, serves the people, and benefits the people. It is the fundamental guiding ideology for us to establish the Party and the country, and to promote the Party and the country. Comrade Mao Zedong once pointed out, "The Communist Party is a political party that seeks the interests of the nation and the people, and it has no selfish interests in itself." Our party has not had its own special interests since the beginning, only the interests of the country, the nation, and the people. All practices of our party are based on the nature and fundamental purpose of the party, and from the fundamental interests of the people, striving to fulfill our original aspiration and fulfill our mission.

From a historical and practical perspective, our party's efforts in revolution, construction, reform, and development are all aimed at seeking happiness for the vast majority of the people and enabling them to live a better life. The Party's unity and leadership in establishing a new China, carrying out socialist revolution and construction, and implementing reform and opening up are all aimed at seeking the fundamental interests of the people. In the new era, the people's yearning for a better life has become even stronger. Our party will always maintain the spirit of struggle as a Communist Party member, always maintain a pure heart for the people, and strive to create a better and happier life for the people.

From the perspective of responsibility and emotion, since its founding, the CPC has taken liberating all mankind and realizing communism as its own responsibility, serving the people wholeheartedly as its fundamental purpose, and engraved the interests of the people deeply on its own flag. Countless Communists and revolutionary martyrs have made great sacrifices for this. It is precisely because of this sense of historical responsibility and great sacrifice that the interests of the party and the people are closely linked. In the new era, our party has always adhered to the original aspiration and mission of seeking happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation, placing the interests of the people in a supreme position. We regard the people's worries and joys as our worries and joys, and the people's joys and sorrows as our joys and sorrows. We have faced difficulties, bravely taken on responsibilities, delivered high scores that satisfy the people, and won the sincere support of the people.

Adhere to the principle of putting the people first and always regard the people's aspiration for a better life as the goal of our struggle

One is to adhere to the fundamental political stance of the Party. The people are the greatest confidence of our party's governance and the fundamental basis for strengthening the party and revitalizing the country. History has fully proven that the country is the people, and the people are the country. The heart of the people is closely related to the survival of the Party. Put the interests of the broadest masses of the people first, and adhere to the fundamental standard of measuring the gains and losses of all work based on whether the people support or not, whether they approve or not, whether they are happy or not, and whether they agree or not. Taking benefiting the people as the greatest achievement, we should think about what the people think, be urgent about what the people need, and work together to achieve the goals of benefiting the people.

The second is to improve the quality of life of the people. To test the effectiveness of all our work, we need to see whether the people have truly benefited and whether their lives have truly improved.Deepen reform and innovation, focus more on the livelihood issues that the people are generally concerned about, take more targeted measures, and solve employment, education, medical care, social security, housing, elderly care, food safety, ecological environment, social security and other issues one by one, so that the people's sense of gain, happiness, and security is more enriched, guaranteed, and sustainable. The third is to protect the rights and interests of the people in accordance with the law. Actively developing people's democracy throughout the entire process, adhering to the organic unity of the Party's leadership, the people being the masters of the country, and the rule of law, improving the system of the people being the masters of the country, realizing the will of the people, safeguarding their rights and interests, and fully stimulating the enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity of all the people. The purpose of promoting comprehensive rule of law is to safeguard the rights and interests of the people in accordance with the law. The comprehensive advancement of law-based governance has been a profound revolution in China's governance. Law-based governance is important for the Party's success in governing and rejuvenating the country, for the wellbeing of the people, and for the long-term stability of the Party and the country. Better play the role of the rule of law in consolidating the foundation, stabilizing expectations, and promoting long-term benefits, so that the rule of law reflects the interests and aspirations of the people, safeguards their rights, and enhances their well-being. Adhere to the principle of putting everything for the people, actively respond to the new demands and expectations of the people, meet the people's management of national affairs, economic and cultural undertakings, and social affairs through various channels and forms under the leadership of the Party, and ensure that the people enjoy broad rights and freedoms, fairness, and justice in accordance with the law.
