He introduced China's principled stand on the US "Indo-Pacific strategy," the Taiwan issue, the South China Sea issue, and the relations between the Chinese and US armed forces, and sent three words to the US side: "leadership is not hegemony, status depends on deeds, and actions speak louder than words."
Major General Jing Jianfeng, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Joint Staff Department of the Central Military Commission, first pointed out the essence of the United States advocating the "Indo Pacific strategy" to consolidate its hegemonic position. Jing Jianfeng stated that 32 years have passed since the Cold War, and the United States has not only failed to eliminate remnants of the Cold War such as the "Five Eyes Alliance" and bilateral military alliances, but has also concocted a "quadrilateral mechanism" and trilateral security partners, dividing camps and provoking confrontation based on ideology. "The United States, for its own selfish interests, disregards the demands of regional countries for stability and governance, and uses inducements and coercion to put other countries at the forefront as guns, fundamentally maintaining a hegemonic system of aesthetic supremacy."
On the Taiwan issue, Jing Jianfeng severely refuted the remarks made by the US side concerning Taiwan, ignoring the facts and subverting black and white. In response to the US Defense Minister's accusation of "unprofessional interception actions by the Chinese military," Jing Jianfeng stated that the Southern Theater Command of China has already revealed the truth about this, with the US leading in reconnaissance and interference, and the Chinese side handling it in accordance with the law. China firmly upholds the freedom of navigation and overflight enjoyed by all countries in accordance with international law. The actions taken by the Chinese military are necessary measures to respond to provocations from relevant countries, and are entirely reasonable, legal, safe, and professional.
Jing Jianfeng pointed out that China attaches great importance to the development of military relations between China and the United States, and the contacts and exchanges between the two armies have not been interrupted.
