Account stolen, sharing "Gift from Deputy Director Gao" account post: Immigrant
Recently, a series of Weibo posts by Weibo user @ Awhitedrese with an IP address in Jiangsu have attracted widespread attention, including a gift from Deputy Director Gao, a small banana from Chief Jing, and a small place among a group of officials at the department and deputy level.
On August 24th, the user involved, @ Awhitedrese, responded, "I have already immigrated to Singapore, and I have not used this account for a long time since going abroad. In fact, it was maliciously stolen by someone with ulterior motives, and I was only able to recover it after being informed by a friend."
However, the IP address of the Weibo article still appears as Jiangsu. Netizens expressed doubts, "Did you forget about the IP address?"

Another netizen with an IP address in Singapore commented, "I'll lend you the IP and you can send it again."
Subsequently, the blogger posted again, saying, "I am not very familiar with the positioning mechanism of Weibo, but I am indeed in Singapore. Perhaps the account has just been retrieved and the location has not been refreshed."
The blogger also claimed that he did not have any contact with Weibo after going abroad and has been using Musk's blog "Twitter". He also posted screenshots for skeptical netizens to view the IP address in the screenshots.

The blogger said, "Those who clear themselves are not afraid of censorship or cyberbullying!"
Regarding this, some netizens still question, "The location on Twitter is manually set, not an IP location. Are you just deceiving Weibo users who don't understand Twitter? In Jiangsu, there are also foreign devices installed, and Twitter will not force the display of an IP."
Some netizens also claimed that they found exposed photos after checking their Twitter account.
