On June 30th, the Shahe Public Security Bureau of Xingtai City, Hebei Province issued a police report. According to the announcement, on the early morning of May 15, 2023, a criminal case occurred in Shahe City, with Cui Zhanmin suspected of committing the crime.
According to the police, Cui Zhanmin, male, 50 years old, Han nationality, is a native of Xiwanshan Village, Yicheng Town, Wu'an City, Handan City, Hebei Province. His ID number number is 130481197312081374. The suspect is of medium stature, slightly chubby, with a mole between his right eye and eyebrows, tattoos on both arms and back, and a missing little finger on his left hand. When fleeing, he wore a white short sleeved round neck T-shirt, black pants, white stripes on the outer leg, and white sports shoes. The suspect enjoys playing billiards and is good at socializing with strangers. He has expertise in electrical welding, decoration, and has worked in a brick factory.

Ms. Zhang, daughter of Fu, told reporters that her mother is 43 years old and a villager from a certain village in Qicun Town. On the evening of May 14th at around 10 o'clock, before Ms. Zhang's father went out to work the night shift, her mother was still at home, but on the morning of May 15th, she couldn't be seen when she returned home. My father asked Ms. Zhang, who was studying in another city, if she had contacted her mother, but she did not receive a reply when she sent a message to her mother. Father searched everywhere at his mother's usual activities and relatives' homes, but there was no news.
At around 4am on May 16th, local police arrived at Ms. Zhang's house to investigate the situation. Ms. Zhang, who felt uneasy in her heart, also rushed back home that morning. She and her father still have expectations for their mother's whereabouts and dare not think in the worst direction. But on that day, the family received a notice from the police to go and identify the body, confirming that Fu had been killed.
The family also learned that Fu's body was found on a road not far from the village. At that time, the left front wheel of a white sedan fell into a ditch on the roadside, and the rear of the car tilted up, looking like it had been in an accident, with Fu's body located under the car.
On June 30th, a local villager told Jimu News reporters that around 9am on May 15th, she saw this strange car while passing by the accident site. As she approached, she saw the driver's door open but no one was there, so she took a photo. She didn't expect that there was another person under the car. Ms. Zhang said that on the evening of the 15th, the police found her mother under the car, who had unfortunately passed away at that time. Later, the autopsy report by the police showed that Fu died from mechanical suffocation due to blunt external pressure on the neck. "My mother's death has nothing to do with the car accident, she was killed by someone," Ms. Zhang told reporters, suspecting that the killer fabricated the scene of the car accident and threw the body after killing her mother.
