According to informed netizens, the cause of this incident was that previously, Yunmi Electric signed with Deng Lun as their spokesperson through Shanghai Panhai Cultural Media Co., Ltd. As a result, Deng Lun's endorsement was officially announced to the public at 9am that day. In the afternoon, after Deng Lun's punishment for tax evasion was exposed, Yunmi Electric's official WeChat account immediately issued a statement stating that it would terminate its cooperation with Mr. Deng Lun from today on.

Deng Lun refunded the endorsement fee he received, but the service fee of the intermediary company was forcibly enforced by Yunmi Electric Appliances and Shanghai Panhai Culture due to the cancellation of the intermediary company.

Deng Lun was pursued for tax evasion and fined 106 million yuan

After investigation, it was found that Deng Lun falsely declared and evaded personal income tax of RMB 47.6582 million through fictitious business conversion of income nature between 2019 and 2020, and underpaid personal income tax of RMB 13.9932 million for other purposes.

During the tax inspection process, Deng Lun was able to actively cooperate with the inspection and proactively pay a tax of 44.5503 million yuan, while also reporting tax related illegal activities that the tax authorities had not yet mastered. Taking into account the above situation, the Fourth Inspection Bureau of Shanghai Taxation Bureau, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations such as the Personal Income Tax Law of the People's Republic of China, the Tax Collection and Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, and the Administrative Penalty Law of the People's Republic of China, has imposed a fine of 106 million yuan on Deng Lun in accordance with the Shanghai Taxation Administrative Penalty Discretionary Standards.

Among them, a fine of RMB 22.2752 million, which is 0.5 times that of RMB 44.5503 million, was imposed on those who falsely declared and evaded taxes through fictitious business conversion income but voluntarily self inspected and paid taxes; A fine of RMB 12.4316 million will be imposed four times the amount of RMB 3.1079 million, which was falsely declared for tax evasion due to fictitious business conversion income but not voluntarily self inspected and paid. Recently, the Fourth Inspection Bureau of Shanghai Taxation Bureau has lawfully delivered a tax administrative penalty decision to Deng Lun.
