A university in Beijing: Police investigating, online rumor of male students being insulted for stopping bullying Zhang | Li | insulting
At around 15:00 today, Beijing Vocational College of Political Science and Law issued a situation report:
In response to the online post about Beijing Political Science and Law Vocational College stating that "boys stopped campus bullying and were insulted and surrounded by classmates", after the fourth class on the morning of June 9th, classmates Xu, Li, Zhang and others had a verbal conflict in the classroom due to duty arrangements. Subsequently, the teacher and class monitor immediately intervened on site, and the counselor immediately went to the classroom to mediate. Both parties expressed acceptance of the mediation and left on their own.
On the evening of June 10th, student Li posted a video clip recorded on site online, and Zhang and others reported to the police. At present, the public security organs are investigating and handling the matter in accordance with the law, and the school is actively cooperating with the investigation, while also doing a good job in providing psychological comfort to students.
