But this is really an ominous signal, because it is stirring up a conflict between religion and values. In the most provocative way between the West and the entire Muslim world.

At the forefront is Sweden, a Nordic country.

This is not Sweden's first time either. In the latest wave, on June 28th, Iraqi Christian refugee Momika tore up and stomped on a sacred Islamic scripture in front of a mosque in the Swedish capital Stockholm. He even placed bacon in it and burned several pages of the book.

This is undoubtedly a provocation and insult. The Islamic world strongly protested, and in Iraq, angry protesters stormed the Swedish embassy the next day.

Momika tirelessly announced that he would burn religious scriptures again outside the Iraqi Embassy in Sweden. On July 20th, the "protest" began. Although Momika ultimately did not burn the classics again, he stomped on them like Iranian and Iraqi religious leaders, and even used the Iraqi flag to polish his shoes.

How can the Iraqi people give up?

Angry Iraqi protesters stormed into the Swedish Embassy in Iraq and set fire to the destruction. Fortunately, the Swedes had already evacuated, otherwise the consequences would have been unimaginable.

Iraqi Prime Minister Soudanni, while condemning the destructive activities, ordered the expulsion of the Swedish ambassador and recalled the interim Charg é d'affaires in Sweden.

He also warned Sweden that if similar burning incidents occur within its borders, Iraq will officially sever diplomatic ties with Sweden.

In addition, Iraq has revoked the business license of Swedish company Ericsson in Iraq. Although Ericsson has clearly stated that it upholds the core values of respecting others and opposes such burning incidents.

Waves have not yet subsided, waves have risen again, the events in Sweden have not yet subsided, and Denmark has had another incident.

On July 21st, an extreme populist organization burned a religious classic and an Iraqi flag outside the Iraqi Embassy in Denmark, and conducted a live broadcast on Facebook.

What does it mean?

Expressing support for Sweden, the more Muslim countries oppose it, the more they must do so.

But the consequences are also serious.

Almost all Muslim countries have strongly condemned the incident. Obviously, such provocative incidents have further exacerbated the rift between Western and Muslim countries.

He also pointed out that China has always advocated for mutual respect, tolerance and learning among different civilizations, and opposes all forms of "Islamophobia". The so-called "freedom of speech" should not be a reason to incite cultural conflicts or create cultural opposition, and different religious beliefs and emotions should be respected. China is willing to work with the international community to implement the Global Civilization Initiative, advocate for equality, mutual learning, dialogue, and inclusiveness among civilizations, jointly safeguard the diversity of world civilizations, and promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
