The proposal also lists the donation amounts for each grade: 300 yuan for seventh grade students with admission notices, and 600 yuan for students without admission notices; Donate 200 yuan to eighth grade students; Grade 9 donated 100 yuan.
According to a report from Western Decision, the staff of the school stated that the proposal to install air conditioning is "absolutely not mandatory" and "no payment, no payment". The amount of donation is determined based on "the length of time students enjoy it", and varies between grades seven, eight, and nine.
The staff member said, "We have already calculated that two air conditioners cost 15000 yuan and were entrusted to parents for purchase. Generally, we choose a representative one."
The staff also claimed that the behavior was reported to the Education Bureau.
Regarding this, the staff of the Pubei Education Bureau responded that it is voluntary in principle and has not yet received any complaints from parents. They will record this and provide feedback to their leaders.
