From January to June this year, the number of cases filed by disciplinary inspection and supervision agencies in the province increased by 5.1% year-on-year; The number of people who were subject to disciplinary and administrative sanctions increased by 13.1% year-on-year. 58 officials at the level of filing department; 44 officials at the department level will be punished.

Under the strong deterrence and policy appeal, 1143 people in the province voluntarily surrendered to the disciplinary inspection and supervision organs.

"We will closely focus on the key targets and prioritize those who have not restrained themselves or acted recklessly since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. We will seriously investigate and punish the issue of leaders' spouses, children, and their spouses, as well as their relatives and staff members who use their influence to seek personal gain and corruption," said a relevant person in charge of the Guangdong Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.

Zheng Renhao, former Deputy Secretary General of the Guangdong Provincial Government, is a typical example of not holding back and not stopping. According to investigators, Zheng Renhao not only condones and tacitly allows his relatives to use his power or position to seek personal gain, but also takes advantage of his position to seek benefits for others in project promotion, engineering contracting, and other aspects, and illegally accepts huge amounts of property. Among them, the amount involved in the case after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China accounts for the vast majority of the total amount involved. In the end, Zheng Renhao was expelled from the party and public office, and his suspected criminal issues were transferred to the procuratorial organs for legal review and prosecution.

Corruption in the medical field is prone to occur frequently, with strong public feedback.
