With the release of economic data for the first half of 2023 by the Anhui Provincial Bureau of Statistics on July 30th, the GDP data for the first half of the year of 31 provinces, regions, and cities in China have all been released.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, preliminary calculations show that the gross domestic product (GDP) in the first half of the year was 59303.4 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 5.5% at constant prices, which is 1.0 percentage point faster than the first quarter.
All 31 provinces, regions, and cities have released economic data for the first half of this year. Tabulation: In terms of the year-on-year growth rate of data, 15 of the 31 provinces in the first half of the year grew 5.5% faster than the national level, including Shanghai, Hainan, Xizang, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Zhejiang, Gansu, Qinghai, Jiangsu, Ningxia, Shandong, Anhui, Hebei, Hubei and Liaoning, while Sichuan and Beijing grew at the same level as the national level.
Among them, the growth rate of Shanghai, Hainan and Xizang exceeded 8%, and that of Jilin and Inner Mongolia exceeded 7%. Shanghai has the highest growth rate, reaching 9.7%.

In terms of total economic output, compared with the same period last year, Guangdong and Jiangsu successfully exceeded 6 trillion yuan in the first half of this year, reaching 6290.98 billion yuan and 6046.53 billion yuan respectively. Shanghai, Hebei, and Beijing successfully exceeded 2 trillion yuan, reaching 2139.17 billion yuan, 2077.89 billion yuan, and 2062.13 billion yuan respectively. Guizhou Station has reached a level of 1 trillion yuan, reaching 1021.875 billion yuan.
The GDP of Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, Zhejiang, and Henan provinces in the first half of this year exceeded 3 trillion yuan, with a total of 6290.98 billion yuan, 6046.53 billion yuan, 4412.5 billion yuan, 3871.7 billion yuan, and 3132.6 billion yuan, respectively. Sichuan, Hubei, Fujian, Hunan, Anhui, Shanghai, Hebei, and Beijing are in the 2 trillion yuan ladder, with a total of 2790101 billion yuan, 2625.922 billion yuan, 2554.78 billion yuan, 2399.864 billion yuan, 2307.3 billion yuan, 2139.17 billion yuan, 2077.89 billion yuan, and 2062.13 billion yuan, respectively.
From the perspective of per capita disposable income of residents, compared with the same period last year, in the first half of this year, Shanghai and Beijing both exceeded 40000 yuan, reaching 42870 yuan and 41358 yuan respectively, while Shandong exceeded 20000 yuan, reaching 20309 yuan. The top five provinces in terms of per capita disposable income for residents in the first half of this year are Shanghai, Beijing, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Tianjin.
