According to a report on the website of the Indian weekly "One Week" on July 21st, Indian Railway Minister Ashvini Vaishnau said on the same day that the tragic collision of three trains in the Balasol area of the Odisha state in June was due to a signal error caused by a "signal circuit modification" error.
Vaishnau said that the commissioner responsible for railway safety under the Ministry of Civil Aviation has completed an investigation into the Parasol train accident, which resulted in 295 deaths.
On June 4th, rescue workers were working at the scene of a train derailment and collision accident in the Parasol region of Odisha, India.
This accident occurred on June 2nd, involving the Koromandel Express train to Chennai, the Sherimer Express train to Hora, and a freight train.

According to reports, up to 176 people were seriously injured in the accident.
"The identities of 41 deceased individuals in the accident have not been confirmed," said Vaishnau
