25 people in distress have turned the tide, and the East China Sea Rescue Bureau's sea and air rescue forces are urgently deployed
On August 28th, the East China Sea Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Transport urgently dispatched sea and air rescue forces, successfully rescuing 25 crew members on two ships in distress.
In the early morning of the same day, the East China Sea Rescue Bureau received information on the danger situation from the Lianyungang Maritime Search and Rescue Center. Due to the adverse sea conditions caused by the incoming cyclone, a cargo ship "Huahai 601" loaded with ore was in the waters near the anchorage of Guanhekou in Jiangsu Province. The ship tilted seriously to the right and was at risk of capsizing at any time. The 15 crew members on board urgently needed rescue. The East China Sea Rescue Bureau immediately instructed the "East China Sea Rescue 112" ship to go to the scene for rescue at full speed, and the "B-7357" rescue helicopter was ready for reinforcement.
At 6:18 am, the "Donghai Rescue 112" ship arrived at the incident area and found that the wind force at the scene was 9 to 10 levels, and the waves were 3 to 4 meters high. The situation of the ship in distress was very critical. The rescue ship docked on the port side of the distressed ship in just 2 minutes and quickly transferred all 15 crew members in batches through rescue baskets. Less than half an hour after the rescue was completed, the "Huahai 601" ship capsized.
At the same time, another cargo ship, "Zhenghe 9", loaded with ore in the nearby waters, was also affected by poor sea conditions, causing severe flooding and sinking of the cabin. The 10 crew members on board urgently needed rescue.

At 7:29, the B-7357 rescue helicopter of the First Rescue Flight Team of the East China Sea took off urgently after receiving instructions from the East China Sea Rescue Bureau to go to the scene for rescue.
When the rescue helicopter arrived at the scene, only the top of the bow of the "Zhenghe 9" ship was exposed to the sea, and the lives of the victims were in danger. The visibility of the site is poor, accompanied by high winds and torrential rains, and a large number of wind power piles are installed around the distress location, which has brought great difficulties to the rescue work.
After confirming the on-site environment, the rescue team immediately carried out the rescue through the coordination of high ropes and winches. The winch operator and lifeguard used a rescue kit to rescue the 10 people in distress in pairs, and in less than half an hour, they safely lifted them all to the helicopter cabin, and the rescue helicopter immediately returned. At 9:25, the rescue helicopter landed at Yancheng Sheyang General Airport, and the personnel in distress were properly resettled.
At present, all 25 people in distress have turned safe. To prevent secondary accidents from occurring, the "Donghai Rescue 112" vessel is under on-site supervision.
