23 deaths, sudden! This country's military bus has been attacked by the Islamic organization's bus
According to Agence France Presse, an observation organization reported on August 11th that a Syrian military bus was attacked by armed militants of the Islamic State organization in the eastern part of the country, resulting in the death of at least 23 Syrian soldiers.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, headquartered in the UK, stated that members of ISIS attacked a military bus in Deir Zor province, Syria on the 10th, and remnants of this extremist organization have recently intensified their attacks.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that the attack resulted in the death of 23 soldiers, with over 10 soldiers injured, some of whom were seriously injured.
The organization claimed that "dozens of soldiers" were also missing.
The report points out that although the Islamic State lost its last territory occupied in Syria in 2019, it still has some hiding places in the vast Syrian desert and has launched ambushes and "hit and run" attacks from these places.
In recent weeks, there has been an increase in attacks by members of the Islamic State organization in northern and northeastern Syria.
On the 8th, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that earlier this week, 10 Syrian soldiers and pro government militants were killed in an attack launched by the former important stronghold of the Islamic State in the province of Raqqa.
