Diving is a traditional advantage event of the Chinese team. From Gao Min winning the first gold medal at the World Championships for the Chinese diving team in 1986 to the 120th gold medal at this year's World Championships, the Chinese diving team has won gold medals in each of the 16 World Championships held by the FINA for 38 years, and has won all the gold medals twice. At this World Championships, the Chinese diving team sent 9 male and 9 female athletes to compete, and ultimately won 12 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals in 13 events. Although it was almost perfect, it was already strong enough.
Since winning their first Olympic medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the Chinese synchronized swimming team has steadily improved their ranking in world competitions step by step. In the face of new changes brought about by the new rules at this World Championships, the Chinese synchronized swimming team actively adjusted and faced challenges, winning a total of 3 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medals, including two groundbreaking gold medals in collective skills and mixed doubles.
