On August 5th, the reporter learned that during the Chengdu Universiade, 100 college students from around the world were invited to Sichuan to participate in the university sports season of the Chengdu Universiade. The theme of the university sports season was "Youth Power · Don't Young Excitement", and sports culture was used as a medium to build a cross-cultural exchange and friendship platform. Chinese and foreign college students exchanged, learned, and understood different cultures while visiting the Universiade Museum and experiencing traditional Chinese culture, and held a grand event of global communication and friendship.
One hundred college students coming to Chengdu are outstanding creators or active participants who have emerged from the global college student sports and cultural public service advertising collection and exhibition activities, as well as sports and cultural exchange activities with partner universities at home and abroad. Among them, more than 50 are Chinese college students from universities such as Communication University of China, Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, Jilin University, Hunan University, and more than 40 are international students from countries such as Indonesia, Pakistan, Cuba, South Korea, and Vietnam.
During the event, hundreds of college students came to the Chengdu Universiade Museum to learn about the history of the Universiade. They visited the press conference hall and the traditional Chinese culture experience area at the main media center of the Universiade, watched the badminton competition of the Universiade, and experienced the night tour of Jinjiang with a strong cultural atmosphere.

"Chengdu is a city that contains culture and can tell stories, and it is very beautiful here," said Leonardo Alejandro, an international student from Ningbo University in Cuba. "I have met many college students from different countries here, and we communicate and get to know each other."
Muhammad Saqib Hanif from Pakistan has only been studying at Southwest Jiaotong University in Chengdu for 4 months. However, during the event, some Chinese and international students from other cities often ask him what is delicious and where is fun in Chengdu, and he will do his best to answer everyone's questions. Saqib really likes the atmosphere of this event: "We chat and share our ideas with every college student who comes to participate in the event. We are often busy with studying, and everything in this event is fresh to me. I am still trying to explore this city."
Chen Yilin from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and many international students exchanged contact information. When the event ended and everyone returned to school, his contact with new friends continued through the internet. "I hope there are more opportunities to bring young people from all over the world together," said Chen Yilin.
