On September 1, 2023, the opening day of the school year, Haihua Primary School welcomed the first lesson of "the most glorious labor" brought by Ni Wei, a model worker in Shanghai and the general supervisor of Yong'an Department Store. Planting a grain of millet in spring and harvesting ten thousand seeds in autumn, the opening dance "Listen to Me" brought the joy of labor to the venue. The situational drama "Pursuing the Red Mark and Inheriting the Virtue of Labor" reproduces the scene of a "labor expert" from Haihua Primary School visiting Nanjing Road Commercial Street during the holiday, chasing the red mark and listening to Mr. Ni Wei, a model worker in Shanghai and the chief supervisor of Yong'an Department Store, telling labor stories. In the first lesson, Ni Wei also came to the venue and told the story of himself growing from an ordinary worker to a model worker, inspiring the green children to be diligent in labor, brave in practice, and grow up to become workers in the new era, contributing their strength to the development of the motherland!
The subsequent music program "Walking towards the Light" and the song "The Glory of Labor" were strung together, and the green dolls spread the joy of labor on campus through various means such as speaking, singing, and dancing.
The first psychological lesson at the beginning of this school also takes labor as the starting point. This class is taught by Liu Xuefeng, a newly hired full-time psychological teacher at Haihua. In class, Teacher Liu talked to the green dolls in an approachable way about the relationship between labor and physical and mental health, and communicated with them in a simple and easy to understand way about labor safety, the relationship between labor and health, as well as the wisdom and psychological efficacy that may arise during labor. Green dolls also engage in interactive activities in the classroom, experiencing the psychological role of labor in life, learning, and growth through sharing. Children's pride and confidence in labor burst out through communication.
