Fudan University's "Strong Foundation Plan" continues to enroll students, exploring multi-dimensional assessment and evaluation models, and adding B-class candidate review steps in the application process; For A-class candidates applying for mathematics and physics, a written interview section will be added.

The School of Mathematical Sciences at Fudan University launched the construction of the Fudan University "Mathematics Talent Experimental Class" in 2019. After the first enrollment for high school students in 2022, a dual emphasis has been placed on college entrance examination admission and secondary selection within the university. On the basis of studying compulsory courses in their major, students will take research and innovation training courses such as limited compulsory courses, advanced courses in their major, and four series of honor courses. The first physics talent class will confirm admission to students who apply for the natural science experimental class after conducting subject specialty tests, and directly enter the physics department for training.
