Naohu Technology has released multiple new achievements, with 100% self-developed digital | brain computer | chain in the entire brain computer interface system chain
On the afternoon of July 6th, the World Artificial Intelligence Conference's "Brain Computer Intelligence and Digital Life" themed forum was held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Hall. The Shanghai Institute of Microsystems, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in collaboration with Brain Tiger Technology, released seven latest scientific research achievements and exhibited the latest surgical robots on site.
At present, in the field of digital life represented by brain computer interface technology, the core technology and breakthroughs in brain computer integration are highly anticipated in the industry. The forum released two academic achievements on site, namely "Silk protein neural photoelectrode" for brain nerve regulation and analysis, and "Mosquito like mouthpiece biomimetic flexible neural probe electrode" for minimally invasive implantation outside the dura mater.
Two animal experiments have shown that Naohu Technology has achieved 100% self-developed development of the entire chain of brain computer interface systems, from electrode preparation, signal acquisition to neural decoding. Neo, a 2-year-old Labrador dog, and Wukong, a 7-year-old rhesus monkey, respectively completed electrode implantation surgery for brain computer interface. After implanting 256 channel cortical electrodes, both can collect potential signals from the visual receptive area. Neo successfully decoded the movement, and Wukong successfully played games with his mind.
Three brain computer interface implantation surgeries completed through cooperation this year were also released on site: in February, single neuron spike signal recording was successfully achieved; In May, achieve Chinese speech decoding and synthesis; In June, guide surgeons to accurately remove brain lesions and preserve important brain functions of patients.
At the forum, the Science Communication Center of Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and Brain Tiger Technology officially signed a memorandum of cooperation on science popularization education, which will help promote the popularization of science and technology resources in the future. The Ethics Expert Consensus on the Clinical Application of Implantable Brain Computer Interface Medicine has been officially launched by the Brain Computer Interface and Interaction Branch of the Chinese Society of Neuroscience in collaboration with the National Center for Neurological Medicine.
The guiding unit of this forum is the Shanghai Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, jointly organized by the Shanghai Institute of Microsystems, Tianqiao Brain Science Research Institute, Brain Computer Interface and Interaction Branch of the Chinese Society of Neuroscience, and Brain Tiger Technology.
