All seven exhibition halls of Shanghai Modern Building Technology Museum have opened, and the low-carbon building museum has unveiled its low-carbon | Architecture | Shanghai
The green transformation in the construction industry is an important way for China to achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, and low-carbon buildings are gradually becoming the mainstream trend in the development of the international construction industry. Recently, the unveiling ceremony of the Low Carbon Building Museum was held at the Shanghai Modern Building Technology Museum. The museum has nearly 800 square meters of exhibition space, integrating concept introduction, teaching display, achievement exhibition, and technical exchange. It will become an interactive platform for promoting various low-carbon buildings in Shanghai, and provide viewers with an immersive interactive experience through a combination of digital interaction and real-life display.
The Shanghai Modern Architecture Technology Museum consists of 7 exhibition halls. In addition to the Low Carbon Architecture Museum, there are also 6 exhibition halls that have been opened, including the Shanghai Excellent Design Exhibition Hall, Shanghai Digital Architecture Exhibition Hall, Installation Star Exhibition Hall, Decoration and Decoration Exhibition Hall, Shanghai High Quality Engineering Exhibition Hall, and Shanghai Landscape Lighting Exhibition Hall. Among them, the Excellent Design Museum showcased the talents of 155 outstanding young engineering survey designers from the 2nd Shanghai Municipal Engineering Survey and Design Competition, as well as the award-winning works of the College Student Architectural Design Competition; More than 110 companies participated in the exhibition of building technology and new materials in other museums, with over 140 exhibits.
According to Quan Xianguo, the director of Shanghai Modern Architecture Technology Museum and the general manager of Shanghai Kaiyi Design Group Co., Ltd., after more than two years of construction under the leadership of the council, all seven exhibition halls of Shanghai Modern Architecture Technology Museum have been basically completed. As of May this year, the green building technology promoted by the museum has been applied to 3.85 million square meters of design and construction projects, including 2.41 million square meters of design drawings, with a total sales value of 589 million yuan.

The Low Carbon Building Museum is jointly organized and established by the Building Energy Conservation Industry Branch of the All China Real Estate Association, the Building Sunshade Branch of the China Building Metal Structure Association, and the New Construction Materials Promotion Center of the Shanghai Survey and Design Industry Association. Entering the museum, a human sized digital figure appeared in front of the reporter. She stood tall and graceful, explaining to the audience the key implementation points of key technologies for ultra-low energy buildings in Shanghai, including technical paths, enclosure structures, exterior doors and windows, and shading.
Entering the real world exhibition area of key technology components for ultra-low energy buildings, Wei Guoliang, Secretary General of the Building Energy Conservation Industry Branch of the All China Real Estate Association, said that this area takes a real apartment in Shanghai as a prototype, integrating 7 types of key technology components, components, and related supporting components for ultra-low energy buildings. Through the display of their characteristics and the relationship with surrounding components, the audience can understand the detailed situation of the parts and components landing project. For example, the Jieyang aluminum alloy 4SG ultra-low energy consumption, detachable central sunshade integrated door and window system in the real-life display has a thermal insulation performance of 10 levels and good sound insulation performance. For example, the Wengerun aluminum alloy polyurethane composite door and window system adopts a core "bridge breaking" material with extremely low heat transfer coefficient and a fully solid structure design, greatly improving the insulation, sound insulation, wind pressure resistance, and waterproof performance of the doors and windows.
The integrated photovoltaic building display area showcases the spontaneous self use and residual power grid connected systems through simulated application scenarios. It is reported that the Gudewei Xuri series does not require bracket installation and is equipped with A-level fire resistance and 15 level wind exposure, ensuring building safety and electrical safety, while also considering building aesthetics, in line with the core concept of photovoltaic building integration.

The low-carbon interior decoration real scene display area has truly constructed a five constant system experience house, allowing viewers to immerse themselves in the superiority of the five constant system, understand the detailed implementation of technology, and experience the new carbon reduction ideas established in the energy-saving renovation process of existing buildings.
As the head of the low-carbon building museum, Wei Guoliang told reporters that low-carbon buildings refer to green buildings that reduce building energy consumption and carbon emissions through the use of low-carbon materials, low-carbon design, and low-carbon technologies. The Low Carbon Building Museum currently has three themed exhibition areas, displaying the application process for ultra-low energy buildings, key technology implementation points, graded certification of green building materials products, acceptance process for ultra-low energy building projects, and project results. Sun Qi, Secretary General of the New Construction Materials Promotion Center of the Shanghai Survey and Design Industry Association, said, "The Low Carbon Building Museum is a dynamic and sustainable permanent exhibition hall. In the future, for the three exhibition areas, we plan to update the exhibits every three months and set new theme content every year according to market conditions."
Xin Guoliang, President of the Building Energy Conservation Industry Branch of the All China Real Estate Association and Secretary General of the Shanghai Survey and Design Industry Association, stated that green transformation in the construction industry is an important way for China to achieve the dual carbon goals. He hopes that under the guidance of the national development strategy, low-carbon building museums can fully play the role of providing a technical exchange platform for various low-carbon buildings in Shanghai, and also contribute to promoting energy conservation and emission reduction in the construction industry.
