At the beginning of this year, we cordially met in Beijing and exchanged multiple letters, jointly leading the construction of the China Cambodia Community of Shared Future into a new era of high quality, high-level, and high standards. The "Diamond Six Sides" cooperation structure between China and Cambodia continues to deepen and solidify, and positive progress has been made in the construction of the "Industrial Development Corridor" and "Fish and Rice Corridor". The series of celebrations for the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cambodia and the China Cambodia Friendship Year have been held with great success. I attach great importance to the development of China Cambodia relations and am willing to work together with King Sihamoni to promote the friendship between China and Cambodia to bear more fruits and bring tangible benefits to the people of both countries.
Sihamoni stated that the traditional friendship between Cambodia and China has a long history. On the same day, Chinese Premier Li Qiang exchanged congratulatory messages with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen. Li Qiang stated that this year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cambodia and the Year of Friendship between China and Cambodia, and China Cambodia relations stand at a new starting point. I am willing to work with Prime Minister Hun Sen to guide the joint efforts of various departments and regions of the two countries to promote more practical results in the comprehensive strategic cooperation between China and Cambodia.
Hun Sen said that Cambodia firmly adheres to the one China policy, supports China's major initiatives such as the "the Belt and Road" initiative, the global development initiative, and the global security initiative, and is willing to work with China to promote the construction of a community of shared future between Cambodia and China, and safeguard the common interests of the two countries and peoples.
