The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held a meeting on June 30th to review the Opinions on Several Policy Measures to Support the High Standard and High Quality Construction of Xiong'an New Area.
At present, the focus of work in Xiong'an New Area has shifted towards high-quality construction, high-level management, and high-quality development. A package of supporting policies has been formulated and introduced, which is of great significance for promoting the coordinated development of Xiong'an New Area in undertaking the non capital functional relocation and large-scale construction of Beijing, and building Xiong'an New Area with high standards and quality.
The meeting emphasized the need to combine the actual needs of Xiong'an New Area at the current stage, closely focus on addressing the interests and concerns of personnel, and take targeted support measures. We must adhere to a steady and orderly approach, continue to promote the implementation and construction of landmark relief projects in Xiong'an New Area, actively explore and follow the laws of urban construction and development, strengthen conservation, intensification, green and low-carbon, reasonably grasp the scale and pace of construction, and create "Xiong'an quality". We must adhere to exploring innovation, taking the lead and trying first, handling the current and long-term relationships between the government and the market, and promoting targeted reform and innovation measures in relevant fields to be implemented in Xiong'an New Area. We should optimize the business environment, strengthen scientific and technological innovation, develop high-end high-tech industries, and continuously enhance the self construction and development capacity of Xiong'an New Area. We should focus on the urban governance structure, public service system, etc., strengthen the forward-looking design of the future urban construction and operation management system in Xiong'an New Area, and actively explore new modern urban governance models with Chinese characteristics.
The meeting requires that the leadership of the Party should be integrated throughout the entire process, various fields, and links of building Xiong'an New Area with high standards and quality, strengthen the construction of Party organizations and leadership teams at all levels in Xiong'an New Area, adhere to the correct orientation of personnel selection and appointment, and build a high-quality professional cadre team with strong political skills, reform awareness, high ability level, courage to take risks, integrity, and integrity. Hebei Province should effectively fulfill its main responsibility, Xiong'an New Area should fulfill its territorial responsibility, and relevant local governments should actively support it. The central and state organs and departments should actively guide and serve, work together, and creatively implement it. Periodic summary and evaluation should be carried out to ensure the implementation and effectiveness of various policies, and promote the construction and development of Xiong'an New Area to continuously make new progress and take new steps.
