On the afternoon of the 26th, General Secretary Xi Jinping inspected the Sanxingdui Museum in Deyang City, Sichuan Province to learn about the excavation and research of historical and cultural sites, the protection and restoration of cultural relics, and so on.
The Sanxingdui Site, located on the banks of the Duck River in Guanghan, Deyang, Sichuan, has gradually revealed a picture of early ancient Shu civilization with its discovery and archaeological work, vividly demonstrating the diversity and unity of Chinese civilization.
Starting today, the new Sanxingdui Museum will undergo trial operation. In addition to precious cultural relics unearthed in 1986, such as the Bronze Divine Tree and the Dali Man, which were relocated to the new museum, nearly 600 cultural relics were also unveiled to the public for the first time. The two gold masks meticulously repaired by cultural heritage personnel also once again shone with their former glory.
In recent years, Sanxingdui culture has frequently gained popularity, bringing Sanxingdui cultural relics to life.
The Sanxingdui cultural relics, in the collision of ancient and modern, traditional and popular cultures, shake off the dust of thousands of years, enter the public life, and radiate new vitality of the times.
