In order to promote the comprehensive development of space science, space applications, and space technology in China, in mid June, the China Manned Space Engineering Office released the "Space Station Application and Development Engineering Space Science and Application Project Guide", which publicly solicits space science and application projects from the whole society. This solicitation covers four major fields: space science and human research, microgravity physical science, space astronomy and earth science, and new space technologies and applications. Each field has several themes and directions, and the application system was officially opened at 9:00 am on July 20th, with a deadline of 16:00 on August 10th. Please refer to the China Manned Space Engineering Network for the Project Guidelines, application methods, and requirements.
It is reported that as the "National Space Laboratory" in China, the space station has the most comprehensive coverage of space science related disciplines, the strongest in orbit support ability, and unique advantages such as manned participation and up and down transportation. It has deployed world-class scientific research and technological testing facilities in orbit, and has the ability to conduct large-scale space science research. The scientific experimental cabinets, technical experimental cabinets, and support systems equipped inside the cabin, as well as the exposed experimental platforms, standard load interfaces, and large load hanging points equipped outside the cabin, can support scientific research, technical experiments, and applications in various fields. In addition, to fully leverage the comprehensive benefits of engineering services for economic and social development, the China Manned Space Engineering Office will continue to use the Tianzhou cargo spacecraft to provide opportunities for scientific experiments to the whole society.
