Guizhou is densely covered with rivers, among which the Wujiang River is the largest river in Guizhou and the largest tributary on the southern bank of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
At the Huawu Wharf, the General Secretary walked along the riverbank to inspect the ecological environment and water quality of the Wujiang River, and affirmed the local measures to strengthen the management of sewage outlets and the construction of water quality monitoring systems.
Huang Guangrong is a water environment quality monitor at the Guizhou Provincial Ecological Environment Monitoring Center. His main work with the team is to monitor the quality of the water environment in the entire province, including the Wujiang River, and to do a good job in water pollution prevention and control. He said that in order to maintain the long-term stability of the mother river, he will keep in mind the instructions of General Secretary, do a good job in water quality monitoring, and serve as the "ears, eyes," and "sentry" for the protection of the ecological environment of the Wujiang River.
