On August 9th, the 300000 kilowatt wind power project of the Huolinhe Circular Economy Demonstration Project in Inner Mongolia was fully connected to the grid, and the installed capacity of the Huolinhe Circular Economy Green Power exceeded one million kilowatts.
The 300000 wind power project connected to the grid this time uses 45 large wind turbines with a single unit capacity of 6.7 megawatts, all of which use upper mounted transformers, greatly improving land use efficiency. Compared with traditional wind turbines, it saves a total of 47200 square meters of land; The project cables are buried underground and do not affect grazing in pastoral areas; At the same time, the project also applies advanced technologies such as smart wind farm systems, intelligent inspections, and VR simulation, greatly improving the accuracy and efficiency of daily inspections.
The Huolinhe Circular Economy Demonstration Project is constructed by State Power Investment Group with a total investment of 5.67 billion yuan. The project is located in the Horqin Grassland of Inner Mongolia, with an altitude of over 1000 meters and abundant wind power. The total installed capacity is 1.05 million kilowatts, and it can generate 3.5 billion kilowatt hours of clean electricity annually. It saves about 1 million tons of standard coal and reduces carbon dioxide emissions by about 2.9 million tons, greatly improving the proportion of green electricity consumption and the layout of industrial energy structure in the region.
Inner Mongolia is rich in wind and solar energy resources, with a total of 1.46 billion kilowatts of wind energy technology that can be developed in the region, accounting for approximately 57% of the national total; The exploitable amount of solar energy resource technology is 9.4 billion kilowatts, accounting for approximately 21% of the national total. In recent years, Inner Mongolia has accelerated the layout of the entire new energy industry chain. This year, the total investment in clean energy under construction projects in the region exceeds 500 billion yuan, and the scale of new energy under construction and planned construction exceeds 160 million kilowatts, accounting for about one-third of the country. At the same time, Inner Mongolia cooperatively promotes the construction of the new energy equipment manufacturing industry, constructs a new energy full industry chain pattern, transforms the advantages of "scenery" resources into industrial advantages, and drives high-quality economic development in the region.
