It is understood that the total investment of the project is 35.736 billion yuan, with a total storage capacity of 3.479 billion cubic meters and a flood control storage capacity of 1.5 billion cubic meters. During the construction period, multiple technical indicators set international or domestic records, and it has the highest water head single stage ship lock in China. The miter gate at the lower lock of the ship lock is 47.5 meters high, making it the world's first gate. The mushroom head at the bottom of the miter gate is forged using high carbon and high chromium stainless steel, which is the first in China and internationally; Equipped with 8 of the largest axial flow propeller type hydroelectric generator units in China, with a single unit capacity of 200000 kilowatts, ranking first among similar units; Arrange 26 radial working gates that are among the top in domestic dam type engineering, with a maximum thrust load of 6820 tons; We have established the largest water ecological protection engineering system in China, which includes "one center, two fish paths, two breeding stations, and five artificial habitats", to meet the breeding and migration needs of rare fish species in the Hongshui River.
