Beijing, August 31 (Xinhua) - The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held a meeting on August 31 to review the "Regulations on Cadre Education and Training Work" and the "National Cadre Education and Training Plan".
The meeting pointed out that cadre education and training is a pioneering, fundamental, and strategic project for building a high-quality cadre team, and plays an irreplaceable important role in promoting the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the new great project of party building.
We must adhere to integrating political training throughout the entire growth cycle of cadres, educate and guide cadres to establish correct views on power, achievements, and career, and improve their political judgment, understanding, and execution abilities. To promote the precise matching of supply and demand for cadre education and training, better meet organizational, job, and cadre needs, continuously optimize education and training methods, and further enhance the systematic, targeted, and effective nature of education and training. We should focus on the major decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, combine them with the major strategic needs of the country, and study and train cadres in different fields and topics to enhance their ability to promote high-quality development, serve the people, and prevent and resolve risks. We must solidly provide the basic guarantee for cadre education and training, give full play to the role of the main channel and battlefield of Party school cadre education and training, strengthen political supervision, and continue to make great efforts to improve the construction of the teaching staff. We must vigorously promote the Marxist academic style of integrating theory with practice, avoid formalism, and work diligently and frugally to standardize education.
