Three new hospitals have been added and parking points have been updated, and the "medical direct train" has been restarted after three years, making it convenient for patients and passengers coming to Shanghai to seek medical treatment
The reporter learned from Jiaoyun Bus that the "direct medical service" convenient for patients coming to Shanghai has restarted today, adding three new hospitals and updating relevant stopping points.
Among the non local tourists arriving in Shanghai every day, there are quite a few who come to Shanghai for medical treatment. They are basically patients with major illnesses and accompanying family members who need to go to major hospitals in Shanghai for diagnosis and treatment. In December 2017, Jiaoyun Bus Long Distance South Station launched the "Medical Direct Bus" project through customized routes, providing personalized and convenient services for passengers seeking medical treatment in Shanghai. "When there were many people, there could be 9 trips per day, with dozens of people on each bus," according to the staff of the long-distance South Station.
After three years of suspension, the long-distance South Station has partnered with companies such as Baiyulan Expressway and Shanghai Johnson&Johnson Zhixing to restart the "direct medical service". "In order to gain a more intuitive and targeted understanding of the needs of passengers seeking medical treatment in Shanghai, we have made sufficient preparations and data support for the project restart through various methods such as online questionnaire surveys, offline promotion, communication with car companies in the early stage, and on-site inspections of operating routes. The person in charge of Jiaoyun Bus told reporters that three new hospitals have been added to the route, and relevant stopping points have been updated. The main road at the hospital entrance, which is prone to traffic congestion, has been adjusted to a nearby road to reduce one-way travel time.".
After arriving at the long-distance South Station, passengers can disembark at Gate 2 and transfer directly to the medical shuttle bus without leaving the station. The medical route involves a total of 9 hospitals, including Xuhui Cancer Hospital, Longhua Hospital General Hospital, Mental Health Center, Zhongshan Hospital, Ruijin Hospital, Baoqing Facial Hospital, Fenyang Facial Hospital, Huashan Hospital General Hospital, and East China Hospital General Hospital. The price of the special line ticket is between 5 and 10 yuan, and the operation period is from Monday to Friday every week. Passengers can purchase tickets by themselves through the "Shanghai Jiaoyun Bus WeChat official account".
It is reported that in the initial stage of resuming operation, the "medical direct train" will have two shifts at 8:45 and 10:45, and will be adjusted accordingly based on the operation situation for a period of time thereafter. In addition, in order to fill the gap outside the operating time of the medical shuttle bus, passengers can enter the station in advance through the "Johnson&Johnson Zhixing" platform and wait for the vehicle. There is a "Medical Direct Bus" service point in the passenger area of Gate 2 of the long-distance South Station, where on-site consultation can be conducted.
