In 2020, with the help of Pudong Customs, Hongjiu Agriculture completed the administrative license for exporting fruit orchards and packaging factories. Its export of yellow peaches to Singapore broke the record of zero local fruit exports in Shanghai. In 2021, the company made further efforts and entered the Singapore market with Nanhui peaches. But in 2022, due to the pandemic, companies suspended their export plans. This year, under the eager anticipation of the Singapore market, Nanhui peaches resumed exports and flew out of the country as soon as they reached the top of the tree.

On the other hand, in response to the short ripening cycle and urgent export orders of peaches, the customs ultimately adopted a "remote video" assessment model, compressing the original 20 working days of acceptance, assessment, and approval process to be completed within 3 working days. This is also the first time that Shanghai Customs has applied the "remote video" mode to conduct registration and assessment of outbound orchards and packaging factories.
It is reported that although the process has been optimized and efficiency has been improved, the customs has strengthened the monitoring of peach orchard diseases and pests during the fruiting period. Before the official export of this batch of fruits, the orchard needs to make an appointment with customs for inspection time. Nie Min, the head of the inspection department of the Pudong Customs Office in Jinqiao, introduced that customs inspections aim to timely detect diseased fruits, insect fruits, rotten fruits, and harmful organisms that may be carried in packaging. Last May, Shanghai Customs opened a special "Green Inspection Channel for Exporting Fresh and Perishable Agricultural Products", allowing enterprises to enjoy the treatment of "reporting and inspecting at the same time, and giving priority to sample delivery". That is to say, fresh and perishable agricultural products will be automatically "topped" in front of all scheduled inspections. Due to this green inspection channel, Shanghai agricultural product export enterprises often choose the time period closest to the shipping flight or schedule to invite customs to conduct on-site inspections to ensure that agricultural products are shipped in the most perfect condition. Shanghai exports sand silkworm bait, frozen fresh sea fish, etc. to Japan, South Korea, and Europe, and the flight schedule is often late at night or early in the morning. Based on this, enterprises can infer that the scheduled inspection time is often in the evening. But the customs still "report and inspect", and after the inspection is completed, the goods can be seamlessly docked for boarding and boarding. The convenience policy of customs has become the confidence of export enterprises to be stubborn.
