The delivery guy who enjoys music and dancing has found a new stage in Shanghai. Yesterday morning, the first Shanghai Workers' Culture Season, organized by the Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions, opened at the Centennial Jasmine Theater. Li Ruifeng, along with other delivery and delivery workers, performed a dance together. "Many people are very excited when they first appear on stage, and I, big or small, as long as there is a stage, I must go up and perform!" said Li Ruifeng.
Li Ruifeng comes from Liaoning. At the age of 15, he was admitted to an art school and studied singing, dancing, and playing the piano. After graduation, his life experience was also very rich. He worked as a soldier, an oil worker, a group performer in Hengdian, and later switched to delivering food.
In April 2020, Li Ruifeng saw a piano in the lobby of the other party's workplace while delivering meals, so he tried playing it. Unexpectedly, he "played" it on the hot search that day. Nowadays, Li Ruifeng has over 260000 fans on short video platforms and has appeared on many variety shows. He delivers takeout during peak hours at noon and evening, and pursues his artistic dreams during other times. He plans to participate in the first Shanghai Employee Culture Season's Express Delivery Boy Voice Competition and sing a song called "Ordinary Road" or a song he wrote himself.
Experts are always among the people, and there are many talented individuals like Li Ruifeng among the workforce in Shanghai. The first Shanghai Workers Culture Festival aims to provide them with a stage to showcase themselves.
According to the plan, in the next four months, the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions will collaborate with the district trade union to focus on creating "5 cultural events+2 cultural exhibition projects+1 cultural service project", as well as a number of employee cultural competitions and activities.
Among them, the five major cultural competitions refer to the "Shanghai Employee Talk about Development and Change, Talk about Advanced Communication Competition Around Us", "Express Delivery Guy Good Voice Competition", "Shanghai Employee Micro Film Competition", "Shanghai Employee Team Family Photo Competition", and "Shanghai Employee Culture Network Competition".
The two cultural exhibition projects refer to the "Shanghai Model Worker Craftsman Hall Series Immersive Scene Drama Exhibition" and the "Shanghai Employee Excellent Literary and Art Works Collection Exhibition".
One cultural service project is a direct service for traditional cultural intangible cultural heritage projects, including 11 offline activities and 4 online live broadcasts, allowing traditional culture to enter enterprises, buildings, and parks.
A batch of employee cultural competitions and activities refers to the 101 sub projects launched by 65 district trade unions in the city, which have characteristics of the times, regions, and industries. These projects mainly cover cultural services for the people, red culture visits, employee cultural exhibitions, and employee cultural competitions, allowing a wide range of employees to experience, participate in, and enjoy union cultural activities nearby.
"In the past, trade unions also organized many cultural activities, but they were relatively scattered. This year, we launched the first Shanghai Workers' Culture Festival, hoping to create it into a Shanghai Workers' Culture Carnival. We look forward to discovering more literary and artistic talents and launching exciting works through this series of activities. We also hope to tap into some talented and enthusiastic cultural volunteers to enrich the cultural life of employees together with the trade union," said Ding Wei, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions.
It is reported that employees can enter the official WeChat account "Shengong Society" of the Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions to register and participate in the activity.
