The exhibition effect and procurement transactions were better than expected, and the 31st China International Fair closed. Countries | Matchmaking Conference | China International Fair
The 31st East China Import and Export Commodity Fair, which lasted for 4 days, closed on the afternoon of July 15th. According to preliminary statistics, this year's China International Fair has attracted buyers from 119 countries and regions, with over 35000 domestic and foreign visitors, a total of 51000 visitors, and a transaction volume of 2.18 billion US dollars.
The organizers stated that despite facing a complex and ever-changing global economy, as well as being affected by various unfavorable factors such as offline exhibitions for the first time after the epidemic, adjustments to exhibition schedules, clothing trade not in the trading period, and high temperatures and heat, the exhibition results and procurement transactions at this year's China International Fair are still better than expected.
At this year's China Fair, the organizers expanded the reach of transactions and improved the quality of transactions through various trading methods such as trade matchmaking, "screen to screen" negotiations, and cross-border e-commerce transactions. This year's China International Fair has set up a procurement matchmaking area and added an online communication platform based on previous offline negotiations. A total of 6 procurement matchmaking meetings were held, with 900 rounds of negotiations held on-site. Among them, 4 "face-to-face" offline negotiation meetings were held, including a Japanese buyer meeting, a decoration and gift meeting, a textile and clothing meeting, and a household goods meeting. The purchasers came from 34 countries and regions including Japan, Russia, Germany, India, Pakistan, etc. Two "Screen to Screen" online negotiation sessions, including RCEP and European and American buyer sessions, with buyers from 21 countries and regions including Singapore, Russia, Vietnam, Malaysia, South Korea, etc., were held to assist exhibitors who did not attend the event in online negotiations, effectively reducing the "distance" of trade and providing convenient trade connections.
The organic integration of domestic and foreign trade, with multiple channels running parallel, and the integration of domestic and international markets is also a major highlight of this year's China International Fair. Some participating companies have brought in two sets of trading teams for domestic and foreign trade, complementing each other's advantages. As a result, the east is not bright and the west is bright, with significant growth in domestic trade, which in turn feeds back international trade.
In addition, at this year's China International Trade Fair, all trade groups attached great importance to the trade growth opportunities for enterprises along the "the Belt and Road" and the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement Area, and launched many targeted commodity and trade initiatives. This year, the China Fair has added a RCEP special session, which has attracted many local merchants and domestic suppliers. The atmosphere on site is lively, and many people have expressed a positive and optimistic attitude towards expanding trade in the future.
