From June 16th to 24th, the Spring of Sino French Culture and Summer Solstice Music Day held a music and cultural feast in multiple cities in China. Shanghai Yunbao Future City, as one of the organizers of the sub venue, will hold the Yunbao Classical Night Concert today. During the concert from 17:00 to 19:00 today, several renowned musicians who blend Chinese and Western music will perform one by one, embarking on a journey of music experience rich in classical meaning and blending Chinese and Western music for citizens and tourists.
The proposal of Summer Solstice Music Day originated from Jacques Lang, then Minister of Culture of France, in 1982. This is a large-scale free folk concert that combines classical music to rap, traditional folk music to rock, world music, jazz, pop or electronics, and summer solstice music. Nowadays, about 100 countries on five continents celebrate this festival on the summer solstice every year. In China, the Summer Solstice Music Day is held within the framework of the Sino French Cultural Spring and is also deeply loved by the Chinese people.
This year, as a touring trip, the flame of the 2023 Summer Solstice Music Day was lit from Wuhan on June 16th. Afterwards, the "holy flame" will be transmitted to Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Ningbo, Shenyang and other places, covering six cities across the country. Gathering multiple top performing groups to light up the city with music, classical, ethnic, and pop music collide to create charming melodies, bringing joyful and relaxing moments in early summer. Among the 22 popular landmarks selected for the Summer Solstice Music Day in Shanghai, Yunbao Future City Art and Creative Park is one of them.

Su Meng
A young classical guitar player. Born in Qingdao in 1988. I studied under Professor Chen Zhi from the Central Conservatory of Music and Professor Manuel Barrueco, a renowned American guitar master. Has been active on the stage of various countries in Asia, Europe, and America. After winning the championship in Vienna at the age of 14, he successively won awards in Tokyo, Japan, Iselrond, USA, and the UK. In April 2010, a special concert was successfully held at Carnegie Hall in New York. In 2010, Beijing Guitar Duo's debut album "Maracaipe" was nominated for the Latin Grammy Award. In 2018, Su Meng was awarded the "2017 Outstanding Alumni Award" by Johns Hopkins University in the United States.

Graduated from Xi'an Conservatory of Music, a young disc player, a domestic disc promoter, assistant to the president of Qinghai Percussion Association, member of the Percussion Professional Committee of Shaanxi Musicians Association, and member of Shaanxi 2620 Percussion Orchestra.
The 14th, 15th, and 16th National Percussion Championships have won three consecutive hand disc championships. In 2019, invited to serve as a guest performer for the Shanghai International Musical Instrument Exhibition. Twice won the top 10 Most Popular Musicians award on Sohu Video in 2023.
