Shanghai is promoting the construction of a new era civilization practice park.
The Jiefang Daily Shangguan News reporter learned from the promotion meeting held today by the Shanghai Greening and Urban Appearance Bureau and the Shanghai Civilization Office that on top of the first batch of 41, 100 "Shanghai New Era Civilization Practice Parks" will be added this year, and 10 "Shanghai New Era Civilization Practice Characteristic Parks" and 2 "Shanghai New Era Civilization Practice Demonstration Parks" will be selected and recognized.
According to the "Evaluation and Accreditation Measures for Shanghai New Era Civilization Practice Park" and the "Evaluation and Accreditation Indicators for Shanghai New Era Civilization Practice Park", the New Era Civilization Practice Park should make achievements in six aspects: learning and promoting theoretical policies, cultivating and practicing mainstream values, innovating and carrying out civilization creation, vigorously promoting new trends of the times, enriching spiritual and cultural life, and strengthening the volunteer service team.
The new era civilization practice park should be people-centered and gain recognition from the people. Many evaluation indicators are closely related to the sense of satisfaction of citizens when visiting the park.
For example, in order to improve the park's civilization index and not lower than the industry average score, the park environment should reflect the dual characteristics of civilized practice and landscaping. Park characteristic culture should be formed in areas such as science popularization, education, culture, health, sports, military, elderly assistance, and childcare.
