Shanghai has released two 5G network standards that support high-level autonomous driving, leading the national high-level | Standard | Shanghai
Recently, under the guidance of the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Communications, more than 20 standard drafting units, led by Shanghai Mobile and China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, jointly participated in the compilation of the "5G Network Planning, Construction and Acceptance Requirements for Supporting High level Autonomous Driving" and "5G Network Performance Requirements for Supporting High level Autonomous Driving" group standards, which were officially released and implemented. This is the first 5G network performance and construction acceptance standard in China to support high-level autonomous driving, filling the gap in corresponding standards at home and abroad, and laying a solid standard foundation for the innovative application and industrial development of intelligent connected vehicles in Shanghai.
The Shanghai Municipal Administration of Communications stated that the release of the group logo is not only the end point of the two standards, but also the starting point of the standardization of 5G vehicle networking. At present, the Lingang New Area's Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Leading Zone has clearly established a high-quality 5G connected vehicle dedicated network to support high-level autonomous driving based on two 5G connected vehicle standards.
On June 8th this year, at the launch conference of the Lingang New Area Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Leading Zone, the overall construction plan for the Lingang New Area Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Leading Zone and the guidelines for the construction of the vehicle road coordination system in the Lingang New Area Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Leading Zone were officially released, and the first batch of driving test licenses without drivers were issued nationwide.
The overall construction plan for the Lingang New Area Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Leading Zone proposes to strive to build Lingang into the first intelligent connected vehicle innovation leading zone in the country with "data connectivity across all roads, cloud network connectivity across all vehicles, and intelligent empowerment throughout the city" by 2025.
