Offshore wind power construction adds another weapon, with the "Haifeng 2001" crane ship delivered to the sea | wind power | Haifeng
On the morning of July 25th, the 4000 ton fully rotating crane vessel "Haifeng 2001", built by CCCC Haifeng Wind Power and undertaken by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry, was delivered at the Qidong Port of Zhenhua, marking another major opportunity for China's offshore wind power construction.
"Haifeng 2001" has a total length of 195 meters, a width of 46.9 meters, a depth of 16 meters, and a designed speed of 10 knots. It is suitable for wind power operations in deep waters of 50-100 meters. It mainly undertakes the construction of pile foundations for wind turbines of 10 MW and above, as well as the lifting and installation of large offshore components and other marine engineering projects.
"The fully revolving crane ship delivered this time represents the advanced level of the industry," said Ou Huisheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry. While consolidating multiple mature technologies of Zhenhua, Haifeng 2001 also utilized many innovative technologies: the crane at the stern of the ship has a fixed lifting capacity of 4000 tons, and the lifting range has been increased from 40 meters of similar ship types to 45 meters. This industry-leading design has enabled the full rotation lifting capacity to reach 3000 tons, significantly expanding the applicability of this level of crane; Equipped with the latest DP-2 power positioning capability and an 8-point anchoring positioning system, it can achieve omnidirectional positioning under sea conditions of 2 meters wave height, 2 knots flow rate, and 6 levels of wind. Through closed-loop power grid design, it can achieve generator load sharing, save fuel, and reduce carbon and nitrogen emissions.
As a major tool for offshore wind power construction, the smooth delivery of "Haifeng 2001" has enhanced Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry's influence in the global offshore industry, and also marked a breakthrough in China Communications Haifeng Wind Power's goal of becoming a world-class offshore wind power comprehensive service provider with global competitiveness in terms of technology, management, and quality. The two major wind power installation platforms, "Haifeng 1001" and "Haifeng 1002", constructed by Zhenhua Heavy Industry Qidong Offshore Engineering, will also be completed and delivered in the autumn of this year. When these three platforms work together, they will usher in a new era of offshore wind power construction in China and contribute marine engineering efforts to achieve China's "dual carbon" goals.
