Shanghai's municipal solid waste resource utilization and supporting facilities will be further strengthened.
The new batch of projects mainly include Xuhui District Hazardous Waste Transfer Station, Minhang District Huacao Recycling and Resource Utilization Center, Jing'an District Two Network Integration Service Project, and Putuo District Hazardous Waste Transfer Station Reconstruction Project.
The operation project of the hazardous waste transfer station in Xuhui District is a new construction project, covering eight categories of transfer products. Intelligent management technology will gradually be introduced, and extended categories such as toner cartridges and expired cosmetics will be added. After completion, the transferred garbage will be transported to the Hulin sorting center for specialized pre-treatment, and then to the end for harmless disposal.
The total land area of the operation project of Huacao Renewable Resources Utilization Center in Minhang District exceeds 47000 square meters, and the main objects of treatment are engineering mud, decoration waste, demolition waste, and river sediment. The disposal scale is 200000 tons/year of engineering mud, 350000 tons/year of decoration waste, 350000 tons/year of demolition waste, and 60000 cubic meters/year of river sediment. The main operating scope includes the decoration waste disposal line and its supporting brick making line for resource utilization, the daily operation of engineering mud and river sediment disposal line, and the sales of resource utilization products such as aggregates and recycled bricks.
The Jing'an District Two Network Integration Service Project will provide two network integration short shuttle services for 14 street towns in Jing'an District, including various two network integration service points, such as residential areas, units, vegetable markets, bars, and short shuttle services between the two network integration transfer stations in the street towns. We can provide paid recycling services for residential areas weighing more than 3 kilograms, as well as weekly scheduled or scheduled recycling services. At the same time, establish a standardized collection team and standardized collection vehicles to achieve controllable and supervised personnel and vehicles, and visualize collection data.
The renovation project of the hazardous waste transfer station in Putuo District covers eight categories of transfer products, and will introduce 5G and artificial intelligence technology to achieve intelligent management and operation of the transfer station. Subsequently, it will be transported to the Hulin sorting center for specialized pretreatment and harmless disposal at the end.

On the basis of the existing capacity for resource utilization and disposal of wet waste, the third phase of the bioenergy reuse center in the old port base will be completed next year. At that time, the total operating capacity of wet waste resource utilization can reach 4500 tons/day, achieving full coverage of wet waste resource treatment in the central urban area, further improving the level of reduction, resource utilization, and harmless disposal and utilization of domestic waste, improving the layout of the entire waste free industrial chain, and promoting the further development of low-carbon and green formats.
