How to Build Upgraded Stores for the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce's "Government Open Month" Breakfast Popularity Project | Blind spots | Government
The Shanghai Breakfast Popularity Project, which has successfully completed the first round of the "three-year action plan," how to deepen the cultivation of existing stores and further integrate into the "seven things to open the door" of the people while addressing blind spots?
On August 25th, at the "Government Open Month" event held by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce invited the branch secretaries and secretary-general of the Shanghai Federation of Commerce and related industry associations to visit the Da Fu Gui Lu Ban Road store located in Wuliqiao Street, Huangpu District. Together with representatives of community residents who were dining, they offered suggestions and suggestions on how the breakfast project demonstration site can better serve community residents.
The century old brand Da Fu Gui was one of the first participating enterprises in the breakfast project, and was the first to build a central kitchen with unified procurement and distribution in Fengxian District, Shanghai. Since 2020, Shanghai has launched a new round of breakfast projects. With its unique "two rooms, one living room" business model, Da Fu Gui stands out among many breakfast project participating enterprises in Shanghai. So far, Da Fu Gui has opened 62 stores in Shanghai, of which 27 have been awarded as city level breakfast project demonstration sites.
At the Da Fu Gui Lu Ban Road store, a "senior area" has been created in the "hall" with over 60 dining seats. Three dining tables and 12 dining seats are specially designed for elderly customers, and the floor has been treated with anti slip measures. The tables and chairs are equipped with special armrests and handles to prevent elderly customers from falling, and a dedicated wheelchair placement area is also left.
Even more commendable is that Da Fu Gui has launched the "Elderly Food Benefit Package", with discounts ranging from 6.7% to 10% off. According to sources from Dafugui, as of now, with the strong support of the Huangpu District Civil Affairs Department, they have established a "Elderly Zone" in 7 stores in Huangpu District. They plan to cover all stores in Huangpu District this year and also plan to promote it to stores in other districts.
Above the "Elderly Zone", there is a price list of "Elderly Food Benefits Package" hanging.

Can communities with high-end properties such as Xuhui Binjiang and Gubei increase breakfast outlets at affordable prices? Representatives participating in the "Government Open Month" activity provided suggestions and suggestions, and the Municipal Commission of Commerce answered one by one.
"Filling in blind spots is still the main focus of the breakfast popular project," the Municipal Commission of Commerce introduced that since the beginning of this year, Shanghai has added 380 new breakfast outlets on the basis of building 3676 breakfast outlets in the first three years. Among them, 117 new urban areas were added, 33 new industrial parks were added, 95 new commercial buildings were added, and 108 new weak areas such as large residential communities were added.
In addition, on the basis of the existing 326 municipal breakfast project demonstration points, Shanghai will carry out a new round of demonstration point creation work this year. As of now, 94 branches have been shortlisted through on-site evaluation, and the "Elderly Zone" will also become an important "bonus point" for shortlisting.
In addition, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, together with the Municipal Health Commission and the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, has jointly released the "2023 Shanghai Breakfast Health Optimization Special Action Plan", which plans to launch a health standard, a set of healthy recipes, a set of meal lists, a group of demonstration enterprises, and a group of demonstration outlets. We will mobilize various enterprises such as Chinese, Western, chain, and central kitchens to actively participate in the research and development of new products for nutritious and healthy breakfast."
