The reporter found that these orders from South Korea are mostly focused on ship types independently designed by various research institutes of China Shipbuilding Corporation. For example, the new generation of green and environmentally friendly multi-purpose high-end heavy-duty crane ships undertaken by Huangpu Wenchong this time are independently developed by Shanghai Shipbuilding Research and Design Institute, a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Group. This type of ship, with its flexible loading capacity, spacious deck loading area, and superior green and environmentally friendly economic performance, has attracted the favor of many shipowners, including South Korea and Europe, as soon as it was put into the market.
