China Eastern Airlines C919 Large Airline's First Double Flight Operation on the Shanghai Chengdu Express | Commercial | Passenger Aircraft
On August 4th, China Eastern Airlines launched its first "dual aircraft commercial operation" of two domestically produced C919 aircraft, and on the same day, it carried out the "Shanghai Hongqiao Chengdu Tianfu" route, continuing to move towards the goal of "flying safety, flying ambition, flying brand, and flying efficiency".
On that day, the round-trip flight numbers for C919 to fly to the Shanghai Chengdu Express were MU9197/MU9198 and MU9189/MU9190, respectively. According to the plan, China Eastern Airlines C919 will operate four flights between Shanghai Hongqiao and Chengdu Tianfu every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday; Execute 2 flights per day at other times. Passengers will have more options to experience domestically produced large aircraft.

The Shanghai Chengdu Express Line of China Eastern Airlines operates approximately 38 round-trip flights per day, involving four airports: Shanghai Hongqiao, Shanghai Pudong, Chengdu Shuangliu, and Chengdu Tianfu. As of July 31 this year, the first C919 has operated a total of 125 commercial flights, with a total of 360.32 hours of commercial operation and over 15000 passengers served.
