A total of 1302 pairs of trains have reached a historic high, and from July 1st, the Yangtze River Delta Railway will implement a new train schedule for freight | freight | trains
Starting from midnight on July 1st, the national railways will implement the third quarter train operation chart. According to the railway department, after the timetable adjustment, the total number of passenger trains operating on the Yangtze River Delta railway reached 1302, an increase of 6.5 pairs compared to before the adjustment, setting a new historical high.
The high-speed railway from the first opening of the Yangtze River Delta to Xining direction
In the new picture, Shanghai, the core city of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, and Xining, an important fulcrum of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, are the first to realize the direct connection of the "Fuxing" high-speed train. One pair of "Fuxing" high-speed trains from Shanghai Hongqiao to Xining G3176/7 and G3178/5 times are connected to Nanjing, Hefei and other key cities in the Yangtze River Delta along the way. They arrive in Xining via the Beijing Shanghai high-speed railway, Beijing Hong Kong high-speed railway, Xuzhou Lanzhou high-speed railway, and Lanzhou Xinjiang high-speed railway. The fastest one-way operation time is 12 hours and 28 minutes, realizing the same day arrival from the eastern coastal cities to the central and western regions.
Optimize the operation structure of high-speed trains
The new plan focuses on increasing energy in scarce directions such as the northeast direction of the Yangtze River Delta and assisting intercity commuting. Three pairs of direct high-speed trains have been added, and nine pairs of direct high-speed train operating sections have been adjusted. The transportation capacity has been supplemented for multiple directions starting from the Yangtze River Delta, such as Harbin, Wuhan, and Qingdao.
In the new diagram, the Yangtze River Delta Railway has also added 7 pairs of high-speed trains within its jurisdiction. Further optimize the morning and weekend commuting train operation plans for directions such as Nanjing to Shanghai, Wuhu to Hefei, and Shanghai to Hangzhou, in order to maximize the convenience of commuters from the Shanghai Nanjing section of the Beijing Shanghai high-speed railway to Shanghai and Wuhu to Hefei during morning peak hours. The opening of the G7547/G7548 weekend line from Shanghai Hongqiao to Hangzhou East every Friday and Sunday also provides more options for weekend commuters between Shanghai and Hangzhou.
In addition, the 0.5 pairs of G7404/1 from Anqing to Wenling will be rerouted through the Hangzhou Shenzhen line between Shaoxing North and Wenling, and for the first time, high-speed rail intercity commuting will be achieved from Anqing to Ningbo.
The quality of regular speed trains has significantly improved
This time, the Yangtze River Delta Railway is striving to improve the quality of regular speed trains through methods such as increasing the number of trains, optimizing operating points, compressing travel time, and upgrading the train base.
In the new picture, one pair of regular speed trains from Wenzhou to Baotou are added. In addition to adding conventional trains, the shortened travel time of conventional trains is also a major highlight. For example, the travel time from Hefei to Guangzhou East T221/0 and T219/22 is shortened by 1 hour, 26 minutes, and 1 hour, 58 minutes, respectively; One pair of trips from Hangzhou to Chengdu East K529/32/29 and K530/1/0, with travel time shortened by 4 hours and more respectively; The travel time from Shanghai to Zhengzhou K152 was shortened by 4 hours compared to before the map adjustment; After the schedule adjustment, Shanghai to Jilin K516/7 and K518/5 trains were changed to direct trains, and the train numbers were upgraded to Z516/7 and Z518/5, reducing travel time by 9 hours and 59 minutes and 9 hours and 50 minutes respectively. It is worth mentioning that although travel time has been shortened and train numbers have been upgraded, ticket prices remain unchanged.
Some conventional trains have been optimized in terms of time utilization. The K1613/2/3 train from Beijing to Lianyungang will depart from Beijing Fengtai Station and terminate at Lianyungang East Station. The original daytime operation of the train has been changed to evening departure and arrival, making full use of night time during the journey, further improving the cost-effectiveness of the journey.
Add 44 freight trains
In this map adjustment, the Yangtze River Delta Railway optimized the freight train operation plan by adjusting the freight flow route and adding freight trains, shortening transportation time, reducing transportation costs, ensuring the transportation needs of national economy and people's livelihood materials such as electricity and coal in summer, better undertaking the "public to rail" transportation volume, and making contributions to green and low-carbon development.
A total of 44 freight trains, including those from Nanxiang to Dongguan East, Xinfeng Town to Xuzhou North, Wuhu East to Qiaosi, Zhengzhou North to Fuyang North, as well as direct trains, through trains, and section trains, have been added to the new map, with a total of 1328.5 pairs of freight trains operating.
