It is understood that the Shanghai Regulatory Medical Regional Medical Consortium was established in July 2018. It is a regional medical consortium with regulatory characteristics, jointly established by seven social medical institutions, including Shanghai Prison General Hospital and Renji Hospital, in accordance with the requirements of the National Health Commission for the construction of medical consortia. It is dedicated to serving the city's regulatory medical security work. The establishment of a medical consortium aims to help the prison general hospital effectively improve the level of key specialized medical technology by introducing social professional technical support.
Each unit of the medical consortium will continue to promote the construction of a multi-level, multidisciplinary, and multi-channel medical consortium model, further enhancing the overall efficiency of the regulatory medical service system. In addition to deepening business cooperation and exploring the establishment of regulatory wards, we will also strengthen information construction and enhance information exchange between the prison general hospital and cooperative hospitals.
