Jiao Xiaoping, former member of the Standing Committee and Deputy Commander of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, Yi Pengfei, former member and Vice Chairman of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Ji Binchang, former Secretary and Chairman of the Qingdao Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Hao Hongjun, former Secretary and Chairman of the Dalian Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, were respectively expelled from the Party and held public positions.
Like Jiao Xiaoping and Hao Hongjun, Yi Pengfei, who was "double opened" this time, fell on February 5 this year, the Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) Festival on the 15th day of the first month of the lunar year of the rabbit.

Specifically, Yi Pengfei's violations of discipline and law mainly include:
Losing ideals and beliefs, deviating from the political principle of "two safeguards", violating the Party's purpose, and failing to fulfill the main responsibility of comprehensively and strictly governing the Party;
Ignoring the spirit of the central eight point regulations, illegally accepting gifts and gifts, and accepting banquets;
Violating organizational principles, appointing individuals solely for personal gain, and selling officials and titles on a large scale;
Being dishonest, leading the whole family astray, indulging and tacitly allowing relatives to use their power to influence and seek personal gain, engaging in "family style" corruption, and illegally owning shares in non listed companies;
Violating regulations and interfering in market economic activities;
Greed for pleasure, lose interest in playing things, addicted to playing cards and mahjong;
Greedy and unrestrained, arbitrarily using power, engaging in power and money transactions, taking advantage of their position to seek profits for others in business operations, engineering contracting, and illegally accepting huge amounts of property;
Abuse of power causes significant public property damage.
Yi Pengfei is the "first tiger" of Hunan Province after the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. He was born in May 1962 in Yiyang, Hunan and has been working in Hunan Province ever since. After graduating from Hunan University of Finance and Economics in 1983, Yi Pengfei joined the Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Commission and worked there. Over the course of 15 years, he rose from a clerk to a director's assistant. In 2000, he became the deputy director of the Hunan Provincial Development and Planning Commission, and four years later, he became the deputy director of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission.
Since 2008, Yi Pengfei has successively served as the Deputy Secretary and Mayor of Huaihua Municipal Party Committee, Deputy Secretary and Mayor of Loudi Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee in 2015, Vice Chairman of the Hunan Provincial Political Consultative Conference in 2018, and stepped down in January of this year.
Two days before his fall, Yi Pengfei was still attending the meeting. According to reports, the second chairman meeting of the 13th Hunan Provincial Political Consultative Conference was held on February 3rd, and Yi Pengfei attended as a leader of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference.
It is worth noting that Yi Pengfei served as the Deputy Secretary, Acting Mayor, and Mayor of Loudi City from June 2011 to March 2015. During this period, Gong Wusheng, who served as the Party Secretary with him, has also been overthrown. Li Jianguo, who took over as the Mayor and Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee of Loudi, and Yang Yiwen, who took over as the Mayor of Loudi from March 2016, have also been ousted.
In the TV special film "Forever Blowing the Charge" aired in January this year, it was pointed out that Gong Wusheng and Li Jianguo's eight years of successively governing Loudi have had a serious negative impact on the political ecology and business environment of the city. The two of them have frequently intervened in land transfer, engineering construction, and drug procurement, causing chaos in these fields.
Li Jianguo once repented and said, "I feel sorry for the people of Loudi. I have polluted the political ecology of Loudi and hurt the emotions of the people of Loudi. I want to apologize to them." Gong Wusheng said, "The root of Loudi's problem is still with me.".
