"The future health education will be a dance of health knowledge and various arts; integrating hard work into works, firmly grasping health; hoping to be remembered for you, me, and him, and for this group of science popularization artists."

At the first Shanghai Health Science Popularization and Selection Tree Activity, Liu Feng from the Jiading District Center for Disease Control and Prevention brought a self composed rap of "Science Popularization Artist", adding another spark to the atmosphere on site. 20 "emerging figures" candidates appeared one by one, sharing their recent actions, thoughts, and feelings in the field of health science popularization.

In order to further build the "main battlefield" of health science popularization in medical institutions, continuously strengthen the role of medical personnel as the "main force" of health science popularization, encourage and publicize individuals and institutions that have made outstanding contributions to health science popularization, mobilize the initiative, enthusiasm, and creativity of all sectors of society to participate in health science popularization work and health promotion services, the first Shanghai Health Science Popularization and Selection Tree Activity jointly carried out by the Municipal Health Commission and the Municipal Health Promotion Office has been launched in full swing. In the "Health Science Popularization Figures" category, three sub tree selection types are set up based on the comprehensive evaluation of individual participation in health science popularization, including seniority, contribution, and dissemination influence: special contribution figures, outstanding figures, and emerging figures. The recipients of "special contributors" must have broad influence and significant social or economic benefits, and will be selected from the "outstanding figures" based on the candidate's application situation; The age of applicants for "emerging figures" must not exceed 40 years old. In today's selection, a total of 20 "emerging figures" and 32 "outstanding figures" entered the final review. 12 institutions and 11 individuals respectively entered the final review for science popularization and management.

A heartfelt response to the integration of health into various strategies

It can be said that the ultimate goal of health education is to cultivate a healthy ecosystem of a city and enhance its soft power. In the past three years since the implementation of the "Healthy Shanghai" initiative, Shanghai has taken the lead in ten major areas and achieved 20 indicators ahead of schedule. This cannot be separated from the cross-border efforts of a group of professionals, and it is also a heartfelt response from the white angels to the concept of "integrating health into all policies and benefiting everyone".

Wang Xing from Shanghai First People's Hospital is one of them. He, who claims to be a "code farmer", has written a total of 6.68 million words since 2019 and has published four works from the perspectives of doctors and patient families. "Strange Doctor's Notes" has become the first film and television work in China written by an in-service surgeon. "Human identities are diverse. My profession is a doctor, but I have also been a family member of cancer patients, and everyone inevitably experiences pain. Can I bring some different narratives to the public from different perspectives?"

In Wang Xing's view, making medical decisions, accompanying psychological construction, providing economic support, and learning disease care are very important for patients and their families. In the book "Patient Family, Please Come", he uses personal stories to tell the story, and some heartfelt "big truths" have aroused strong resonance among readers. As Tao Yong, the chief ophthalmologist at Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, commented, "When you board the boat created by the author of this book, you and the doctor become teammates."

Enable patients to understand doctors better, and also enable doctors to understand themselves better. Wang Xing said that in this tree selection activity, he met a group of like-minded individuals dedicated to science popularization. Through mutual learning and promotion, he hopes to use more forms of expression in the future to help patients clarify their doubts. It is reported that among the derivative new media works of his works, the science popularization video won the Excellent Award in the New Era Health Science Popularization Competition of the Central Propaganda Department. He also went out of the hospital to give lectures on cancer prevention and health courses for Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Nanxiang Hospital in Jiading District, and major elderly care institutions.

Promoting the "Healthy Shanghai" Action through Science Popularization

The 18 special actions of the "Healthy Shanghai" campaign have attracted increasing attention in recent years, including the promotion of mental health. With the acceleration of social pace, the public's demand for high-quality living has increased, and mental health is increasingly valued by the public. As a clinical psychiatrist, in the diagnosis and treatment work, we have found that in addition to treating diseases, we also face new and stronger opponents, which are misunderstandings and rumors about psychological disorders.

In the autumn of 2017, a seed of popular science took root and sprouted in the heart of Jin Jin from the Shanghai Mental Health Center. Over the past five years, she has acquired multiple identities: the creator of "Fluttering Green Ribbon", the manager of Shanghai Psychological Hotline 962525, and a mental health mentor for schools and workplaces... "To promote the mental health of the public, it is not only in the consultation room and ward, but also at the social level. Only by enriching popular science content, innovating popular science forms, building popular science platforms, and forming popular science teams can we comprehensively improve the level of public mental health."

Just like emergency medical staff racing day and night against life, psychiatrists also face a challenge: what should they do when encountering emergency psychological problems? "Being a psychological first aid worker for oneself and family, we have introduced mental health first aid training from Australia and psychological first aid from the World Health Organization. These highly practical skills have also become important tools for implementing mental health science popularization." Jin Jin introduced that she and her team members have also flexibly applied concepts and technologies to frontline medical personnel, children and adolescents, bringing spiritual comfort into the workplace and campus.

In recent years, Jin Jin has gained a lot of honors on the road of science popularization, but what makes her even more proud is a set of numbers - the awareness of mental health knowledge among Shanghai citizens has increased from 71.9% in 2011 to 76.7% in 2019, the accuracy rate of identifying anxiety disorders has increased from 49.5% to 84.9%, and the accuracy rate of identifying depression has increased from 60.3% to 81%. "Everyone is the first person responsible for their own mental health, which is our slogan and goal. Every bit of encouragement has strengthened my exploration of mental health science popularization, safeguarding the physical and mental health of the public."

Making health education a cause of love and belief

Transferring knowledge in health education and encountering happiness in health education. Li Jie from Huangpu District Health Promotion Center in Shanghai and Yao Le from Tongren Hospital in Shanghai have formed a relationship with health science popularization, and now they have become a "science popularization couple" deeply involved in the field of health. Li Jie, who was once a community nurse, had a different perception of health science popularization.

In response to the common misconceptions about epidemic prevention among the general public, Li Jie attempted for the first time to combine comedy and popular science to express medical knowledge through a self-made series of popular science videos. Humorous and vivid texts such as "Let My Palace See Who's Bad Faced Again" further break the boundaries of health knowledge and integrate it into popular TV dramas. "The community health service center is a grassroots network that solidifies the health of the people, and a community brand that is close to enterprises and buildings. Will it make citizens feel more familiar?" Therefore, Li Jie focuses on 10 characteristic projects of the community health center in the region, opening a series of influential self owned science popularization brands such as "Brand Story", "Parenting Lecture", and "Huige Talks about Rehabilitation". At the same time, relying on the construction of the Nanjing East Road Health Promotion Demonstration Street, six characteristic projects such as "Scan Code to Know Nutrition" and "Mind Station" have been launched in places such as Xinya Cantonese Restaurant and First Food Store, organically combining the unique commercial attributes of the region with health promotion.

Among the "emerging figures" this time, there is also Wang Fan, a doctoral supervisor at the Development Research Institute of Fudan University who has long promoted the concept of "smoke-free Shanghai" and created a good public opinion atmosphere for the introduction of local government smoking control laws; Yang Yang, a doctor from the Shanghai First Maternal and Child Health Hospital who is committed to spreading correct sexual knowledge and enabling more people to have the ability to distinguish right from wrong, and independently operates the self media popular science brand "Yang Yang Yang Doctor" in his spare time; There are also students from health communication to mentors, and now Shanghai Health Promotion Center nutritionist Dai Hengwei, who is dedicated to health science popularization... They are like new stars, outlining the long scroll of health science popularization. In recent years, from the establishment of the country's first health science popularization talent project supported by financial funds and the launch of a series of health science popularization projects, to the release of the country's first "Health Science Popularization Influence Ranking of Medical Institutions and Medical Personnel", and to the launch of the first large-scale health science popularization TV talk show "Health Talk Show" in China, this city is quietly changing due to health science popularization. As Wang Tong, Deputy Director of the Municipal Health Promotion Office and Director of the Municipal Health Commission's Health Promotion Office, said, "Health science popularization talents are the seeds of spreading health. From the moment they land, they will inevitably grow into towering trees that protect the general public."

Why is "Cancer King" immunotherapy ineffective? Fudan Cancer Hospital Reveals New Mechanisms of Immunosuppressive Environment for pancreatic cancer CRIP1 | Tumor | pancreatic cancer

Immunotherapy has been proven to achieve significant therapeutic effects in various solid tumors. However, for pancreatic cancer, known as the "king of cancer", immunotherapy has been ineffective. On August 4, Professor Yu Xianjun, Dean of the Cancer Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, and Shi Si, Associate Professor of Pancreatic Surgery released a research achievement, which first found the key role of cysteine rich protein 1 in shaping the immunosuppressive microenvironment of pancreatic cancer, filled the gap in the research field of immunosuppressive microenvironment of pancreatic cancer, and provided a theoretical basis for precise immunotherapy of pancreatic cancer patients. Ductal adenocarcinoma of the pancreas is the main type of pancreatic cancer, accounting for about 90% of all pancreatic cancer. Due to its high malignancy and poor treatment effectiveness, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma has always been one of the most malignant tumors. In recent years, the level of surgical techniques and comprehensive treatment has been achieved

A 14-year-old girl has been experiencing symptoms such as protruding pupils, incomplete eye closure, corneal injury, restricted eye movement, and overall fatigue for several years. The physical discomfort and facial abnormalities caused by eye diseases have made her increasingly reticent, and her temperament is vastly different from before. At the Ophthalmology Department of the Ninth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, the pupil has been diagnosed with a rare thyroid ophthalmopathy combined with myasthenia gravis, which requires prompt treatment. However, considering the young age of the pupil, conventional hormone and radiation therapy cannot be used. Therefore, Zhou Huifang, Deputy Director of Ophthalmology and thyroid ophthalmology expert, has developed a targeted drug combined with surgical treatment plan for it, and targeted drug treatment will be performed first. Three months ago, I was hospitalized for one week with mydriasis and received intravenous targeted drug treatment. Afterwards, I went home for observation and followed up on time

Recently, autologous hematopoietic stem cell therapy was completed in Shanghai, and British girls born in the 1990s have suffered from multiple relapses of blood diseases, including stem cells, peripheral blood, and diseases

Recently, Catherine, a British girl born in the 1990s, received autologous peripheral blood hematopoietic stem cell transfusion at the Cancer Center of Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital, and was successfully discharged from the warehouse. She is now on her way back to China after being discharged from the hospital. She is also the first patient at Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital to complete relevant treatments. In 2019, Catherine was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in the UK, and after treatment, the disease completely improved. During her work and life in China in 2021, she went to seek medical attention due to multiple enlarged lymph nodes. Pathological biopsy confirmed a recurrence of Hodgkin's lymphoma, and through combined targeted drug treatment, her condition was temporarily under control. Last year in the second half of the year, when the disease recurred, the girl began to use immunotherapy combined with targeted drugs for treatment. Expert evaluation suggests that for young patients with hematological tumors, the risk of recurrence is high and treatment difficulty is increasing in the future. Autologous hematopoietic stem cell therapy is recommended
