The environmental protection public welfare documentary program "All the Way Forward" has been officially launched, initiated by Hu Ge. The program | Public Welfare | Environmental Protection
On July 25th, the environmental protection public welfare documentary program "Moving Forward" was officially launched by SMG, with Hu Ge, Liu Tao, and Chen Long as initiators, and jointly produced by Oriental TV and Documentary Center. The program will use a combination of reality shows and documentaries to explore what is "green modernization" in the dialogue with nature and polish the bright background of "green", a Chinese path to modernization.
The live broadcast of "Interrelationship with Earth" will be launched
It is worth mentioning that this environmental public welfare documentary program, initiated by renowned actor Hu Ge, is also a "Friends of the Langya List". Hu Ge, along with Liu Tao and Chen Long, will serve as initiators, planners, and experiencers to embark on a long-term low-carbon journey. Unlike previous reality shows, the program does not feature games or gimmicks, but focuses on truthfully documenting the entire process of public welfare journeys. Hu Ge stated that environmental public welfare is a marathon, and hopes that through the program, the audience can learn how to start from themselves and the small details of life, and join the ranks of environmental protection.
It is reported that "Moving Forward" will be filmed in Kekexili, Qinghai, Ansai Township, Yushu, Golog Prefecture, Alxa, Inner Mongolia, Haikou, Hainan, Sanya, and other places. The entire season of the program covers many popular environmental issues, such as biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, sustainable development of fisheries, whale stranding, marine plastic waste pollution, food waste, excessive packaging, and low-carbon communities.

SMG has concentrated its efforts, conducted in-depth planning, and actively promoted the creation of "Moving Forward". Starting from the launch of research and development in February this year, inviting industry authorities to participate in program planning, conducting more than three months of research by selecting the main team, and then selecting more than 80 topics from over a hundred for in-depth interviews and on-site visits, the program team has been working hard and moving forward. The filming process will also launch a "configuration" of "8 humanistic documentary groups+1 natural documentary group+action filming group", and will also adopt audio-visual expressions that are in line with the new aesthetic of Generation Z, bringing an immersive experience to the audience.
"All the way forward" is scheduled to officially meet with the audience in November. But from now on, the audience can see it first. On July 26th, the first live broadcast of "One Way Forward" and "Interrelationship with the Earth" is about to start. The live broadcast will lead the audience to "Cloud Arrive" at the Kekexili National Nature Reserve Management Bureau, and enter the "low-carbon filming team" startup site to get up close and understand how the program is preparing for the upcoming journey of public environmental protection. With the increasing importance of ecological civilization in the grand blueprint of the new era, the program hopes to see the big picture from the small, and to make the public deeply aware that ecological environment protection is closely related to everyone in a comprehensive, three-dimensional, and vivid way of narration.
