On May 28th, the first concert of the "Beijing Shanghai Music Season" was held at the National Grand Theatre. Xu Zhong, the president of the Shanghai Opera House, led the Shanghai Opera House Symphony Orchestra and the National Grand Theatre Orchestra, and together with pianist Sun Yingdi, they brought "Impressions of France: Night of Ravel". On the evening of July 22nd, Lu Jia brought Beethoven's "Fifth Piano Concerto" and Brahms' "Fourth Symphony" to the Shanghai Opera House Symphony Orchestra.
Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-flat Major, also known as the "Emperor" Concerto, is not only Beethoven's last concerto, but also one of the top works in piano concertos. Lu Jia said that all pianists who want to play Beethoven's piano concertos must play the fourth and fifth, which are the two most important works.
Concert invited pianist Zuo Zhang has won numerous awards in international competitions and has also collaborated with world-class orchestras such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, and London Philharmonic Orchestra. For the left chapter, Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 is a special work. "The first time I tried to challenge it was ten years ago, and it has been with me since I grew up. Every time I look back and interpret it, there will be some deeper experiences and insights. This work can be played for a lifetime."

Pianist Left Chapter
In the second half, Brahms' Fourth Symphony was the composer's last symphony. During rehearsal, Lu Jia said to the orchestra performers, "Beethoven's brilliance in the field of symphony is too brilliant. Brahms, with his high respect for Beethoven, first accumulated a lot of experience in chamber music creation before starting to write symphonies. Therefore, playing Brahms' symphonies also requires special attention and showcasing the characteristics of chamber music."
After listening to the live performance, a music fan said, "The music played by the band under the command of Lv Jia is like a sparkling river, with difficulties turning into exciting highlights, making the music shine with dazzling brilliance. At the end of the performance, applause lasted for more than four minutes."

After several rounds of applause, Lv Jia sighed and said, "I am delighted to collaborate with the Shanghai Opera Symphony Orchestra again after more than ten years. It is fortunate to present the masterpieces of two music giants in the history of German music to everyone, but it is another blessing to gain everyone's recognition and love."
