The Temple of Heaven has a history of over 600 years and is a treasure of world architectural art, as well as an outstanding representative of world cultural heritage. The Beijing Temple of Heaven Metaverse Multimedia Series Exhibition "Echoes of the Heavenly Sound" and "Talks with the Temple of Heaven" began its tour with official support from the Temple of Heaven Park, and the first national exhibition was held from July 15th to October 6th at the Tian'an Qianshu in Shanghai's Dayang Jingdian.

The Temple of Heaven was built in the first half of the 15th century and attracts about 20 million visitors annually. It is the largest surviving ancient sacrificial architectural complex in China. The Temple of Heaven witnessed the Chinese nation's reverence and exploration of the universe and nature: from ancient times, it began to sweep the floor and offer sacrifices, climb high and offer sacrifices, and later build altars and offer sacrifices. Surrounding the Temple of Heaven, there are many curious and mysterious colors, such as how whispers generate clear echoes in front of the Echo Wall, and why there are many circular buildings in the Temple of Heaven. The exhibition "Echoes of the Heavenly Sound" focuses on the main venue of the sacrificial ceremony - the Round Mound Altar architectural complex, guiding the audience to understand its cultural core through multimedia interaction.

The exhibition of "Echoes of the Heavenly Sound" is divided into three main exhibition areas, including "Chronicles of the Temple of Heaven", "Haotian Youying", and "Emperor of the Heavenly Way". The "Temple of Heaven Chronicles" exhibition area will lead the audience to understand how ancient people "conversed with the sky", telling the evolution of sacrificial architecture from ancient times to the Ming and Qing dynasties; The "Haotian Youying" exhibition area will move the Echo Wall into the exhibition hall, where visitors will experience the relationship between the sound phenomenon of the Temple of Heaven and the architectural layout, materials, and craftsmanship through interaction, and explore the cosmology in ancient Chinese architecture; The "Emperor of the Heavenly Way" exhibition area presents the Qing Dynasty sacrificial ceremony in a 360 degree immersive light and shadow theater. At the exhibition site, visitors can also experience intangible cultural heritage workshops, try to print a tile of an ancient building, experience filling with wire enamel glaze, or weave a bracelet with traditional knots.

The organizer of the exhibition, Xiaohong Technology, is a leading scenic area cultural IP operator and cultural and creative service provider in China. The curator team, Zero Card Culture, has created exhibitions such as "The Forbidden City Beast" and "Dunhuang Wonderland". In this "Echoes of the Sky" exhibition, Zero Card Culture strives to create a digital, learnable, playable, and interactive fun Temple of Heaven under the academic guidance of the Temple of Heaven Park. The Beijing Temple of Heaven Multimedia Comprehensive Exhibition is a three-year series of exhibitions that will present three different themes of multimedia digital interaction over the course of three years. In 2024, "Fengnian Yongsi" will continue its dialogue with the Temple of Heaven; In 2025, "Yu Zhen Jin Sheng" will focus on the architectural complex of the Zhai Palace, sacrificial fasting, and ritual and music culture, taking the audience to understand the influence of ancient ritual and music culture on moral cultivation.
